Kate is Kennedys global head of responsible business.  She sets the responsible business strategy with the aim of integrating responsible business into the firm’s operations.

Kate leads a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across diversity, equity and inclusion, social impact and wellbeing, and works with teams across the firm as it strives to build on its ambitious goals and targets to improve its social and environmental performance. Her role oversees the firm’s integration of the UN’s sustainable development goals into its operations and decision-making, as well as how the firm is developing its practices as a responsible employer, engages its supply chain and works in partnerships to make societal change.

In her previous role at a Magic Circle law firm, Kate played a key role in building and leading a dynamic responsible business team across community, pro bono, D&I and broader responsible business initiatives. She also gained multiple awards for a number of social impact initiatives, including a collaborative project with a client that is now a national charity in its own right.

Outside the day job, Kate is a governor at her son’s primary school in Essex, UK.
